Vincent J. Dick

Vincent J. Dick, 90, of Owensboro, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born in Evansville, Indiana to the late Bernard and Caroline Elpers Dick. Vincent was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was co-owner and operator of Owensboro Auto Trim, retiring at the age of 82. Mr. Dick was a long-time member of Blessed Mother Catholic Church. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening both vegetables and flowers. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Barbara Dick in 2010; a young sister, Rita Dick and brothers, Fr. Firmus and Charles Dick. Vincent is survived by five daughters, Connie Peek (Hank) of Hudson, KY, Linda (Ed) Moore of Evansville, IN, Julie Brazile of Cincinnati, OH. (Michael), Sarah Creamer of Lewisport and Stacey Lambert (Orville "Butch") of Lewisport, grandchildren; Matt Simpson (Sandra), Ryan Simpson, Courtney Moore, Riley Moore (Emily), Kristen Bonavita (Joe), Ashley Webber (Jeff), Amber Morton (Zack) and Brooke Floyd (Brandon), 14 great-grandchildren; a brother, Marvin Dick (Kate) of Michigan; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Monday, September 23 at Blessed Mother Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 until 5:00 PM, with prayers at 3:00, and Monday from 9-9:30 AM at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Entombment will be at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
