Vincent E. Gray Jr.

Vincent E. Gray, Jr., 96, passed away on December 29, 2025, at Harrington Hospital, surrounded by family. He was born on December 2, 1929, in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Vincent E. and Alice D. (Mousaw) Gray, and his beloved wife, Mary Jane (Hanson) Gray. He is survived by his devoted sons, Kenneth Gray and his wife Debra of Brookfield, Massachusetts, and David Gray and his wife Linda of Warren. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all of whom he loved dearly.

Vincent demonstrated his commitment to personal growth and excellence early in life, graduating from Springfield Technical High School in the class of 1947. He proudly served his country and was honorably discharged from the Air National Guard and the Reserve of the United States Air Force. He devoted his professional life to the automotive industry, serving as a parts manager for Heywood Ford in Worcester, MA as well as Milbury Motors. Vincent was a resident of Brimfield for the past 45 years and a member of the Brimfield Congregational Church.

In his personal life, Vincent found joy in many pursuits. He was an avid traveler, with treasured memories of trips to Puerto Rico and Alaska. He loved skiing and spending time with family at Misquamicut Beach, as well as fishing in Vermont. Known for his intellectual curiosity, he was a history buff and also enjoyed engaging in crossword puzzles.

The family observes that burial will be at their convenience. In lieu of flowers, they encourage donations in Vincent's memory to Tunnels for Towers or St. Jude's Hospital for Children, reflecting his character and compassion for others.
