Vincent Michael Grazidei, II, born on July 25, 1949, in Brooklyn, NY, passed away on January 21, 2025, in Coram, NY. He lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and love for his family, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by those who knew him.
Vincent devoted his career to the craft of butchery, serving with pride at Setauket Meats. His expertise and commitment to his work earned him respect in his profession, where he touched the lives of many with his skill and care. Vincent was a proud Marine Corp Veteran, who sacrificed his life to serve his country.
He is survived by his beloved wife Theresa, who stood by his side throughout their years together. Vincent is also remembered fondly by his children: Vincent Michael III and his wife Jeanine, Jacqueline, Toni, and Brian and his wife Danielle. He was a devoted grandfather to Vincent IV, Madison, Nicolas, and Brian, as well as his great-granddaughter Molly Mae. They will carry forward his memory and the values he instilled in them. Additionally, Vincent is survived by his brother, Michael Jack Grazidei. Vincent was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Rose Grazidei, who nurtured his growth and character, shaping him into the man he became.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Mangano Family Funeral Home of Middle Island, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM until 9:30 PM. A Mass in his honor will take place on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church in Coram, NY, beginning at 11:15 AM. Following the mass, friends and family will proceed to Calverton National Cemetery, where Vincent will be laid to rest.
The loss of Vincent Michael Grazidei, II leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him, yet his spirit will continue to live on through the love and memories shared among his family and friends.
The family is requesting donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Foundation, in lieu of flowers
