Vincent Joseph Jaeger M.D.

I just now found out that Dr. Jaeger, one of my favorite surgeons to work with, had passed away last year. What a special man! I worked in the open heart operating room at St. Francis Hospital for many years and worked with Dr. Jaeger very often. I left SFH in 1994 and hadn't seen him until one day in the autumn of 2020, in the parking lot of Stop & Shop in West Hartford. We chatted and laughed about old times in the O.R. for almost an hour.
A true gentleman and wonderful surgeon who had a great sense of humor. I am honored and privileged to have known him.
My sincere and heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry for your loss. I enjoyed spending time with "The Vin Man"at the gym.

Rest in peace Uncle Vinny. Will always remember the good times at the many family gatherings. You graced many lives in your career and life. Condolences to all the family. Love L & D
