My deepest condolences to the Mintus family. This was truly shocking news. My introduction to both Kim and Vince was at a neighbors holiday party a few years back. Vince was very funny and jolly and certainly in the holiday spirit. He was a cop!! He told me he was with the FBI..I told him then I better behave..and we laughed. Kim was gracious as usual and we had a very nice evening. Every time he would drive by, we would have a small chat or wave. I will miss those drive byes. RIP Vince. You have many that will watch over Kim.

Vinny was a friend and amazing professional and just a nice guy. He always gave me a run for my money in the courtroom. He was gracious ethical and easy to deal with. I remember his "undercover" days with Delray well. May his family focus on the good times and great memories. Saying our prayers for him

I first met Vinny while working at DBPD in 80´s. Vinny showed up for work sitting high above the windshield of his very small MGB sportster, Vinny was not a small guy! He always had the top down so he could fit into that car!
The years we worked, trained and played together at DBPD/OCB/VIN resulted in so many fond memories of the excellent Police work we did as well as stories that could fill volumes of books.
I miss my friend! Rest in peace my Brother!

I had the honor of initially meeting Vinny back in the 80´s when I was working a narcotics task force. Vinny was upbeat, humorous, knowledgeable and always willing to lend a helping hand. I was saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to all of his loved ones. Rip Vinny
