Vincent Vitullo Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jul. 10 to Jul. 18, 2025.
On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, Vincent Robert Vitullo, age 70, of Austintown OH, went home to be with the Lord. He was born November 25, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Joseph and Alice (Dimuzio) Vitullo.

A graduate of the Leonard Kirtz School, Vincent brought joy and laughter to those around him with his sharp wit and love for playful teasing. He had a special fondness for April Fools' Day, often using it as an opportunity to break the ice and spark conversations with his signature humor.

From a young age, Vincent embraced the outdoors as a Boy Scout and found peace in simple pleasures like skipping stones across lakes-an activity he could enjoy for hours. He also had a unique way of braving the cold: bundled up in his heavy coat and gloves long after others had shed theirs, always preferring to stay warm just a little longer.

Music played a central role in Vincent's life. He memorized the lyrics to over 100 songs and especially loved "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head" by B.J. Thomas. Whether singing along or simply listening, music brought him comfort and joy.

Vincent's love for food was equally memorable. He cherished homecooked Italian meals prepared by his mother-whom he adored-including favorites like greens and beans with garlic bread. He also delighted in lemon meringue pie, fried balogna sandwiches, birthday cake, ice cream with root beer, and when dining out, he often requested tea with chicken and fries from Red Barn.

He leaves behind his brothers Richard and Anthony of Houston, Texas; and Joe and Jim of Youngstown, Ohio.

Vincent's warmth, humor, and enduring spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
