D’Auria, Vincenzo J. (Vinny); age 48; a West Burke resident passed away Sunday, April 30, 2006 at his home following a lengthy illness. The son of Pellegrino (Jim) and Beverly (Rathburn) D’Auria, he was born July 3, 1957 in Bridgeport, CT. He married Laurie L. Austin, and was a very loving husband, he was a carpenter. Vinny loved to build houses, restore and repair cars, fishing, spend time with his grandchildren.

Vinny is survived by his loving wife, Laurie of West Burke; two sons, Vincenzo J. D’Auria, Jr. and wife Jennifer of St. Johnsbury; Nikko Vincenzo D’Auria of West Burke; three step sons, Brent Sarazin of West Burke; Shane and Jeremy Greene of Meredith, NH; two step daughters, Jessica Berry of St. Johnsbury; Savanna Sarazin of West Burke; brothers, Pellegrino D’Auria and wife Pamela of Lisbon, CT; Michael D’Auria and wife Dena of Jewett City, CT; Alan Scherber and wife Cara of Hudson, NH; sisters, Ann Marie Scherber of Lyndonville; Michelina Bourgoin of Dudly, MA; grandchildren Brandon and Makyia Sarzin of W. Burke; Antonio D’Auria; Kevin Greene both of St. Johnsbury; Meghan Willson-Bunnell & Matthew Willson; uncles & aunts, Raffaele & Lorraine of Strafford, CT; Epifanio & Giovanna Falconieri of Bridgeport, CT; Michaele & Rosea Bove of Polarimo, Italy; father in law Charles Austin of Lyndonville; several nieces, nephews, & cousins.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 13 Loomis St. Montpelier, VT 05602 Visiting hours will be at the Pearsons Funeral Home, located at 70 Church St.. Lyndonville Friday, May 5, 12:00 noon till 2:00 P.M. with a funeral service immediately following, with the Fa.. Rich O’Donell, officiating.
