Vinod D. Desai, of Piscataway, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Born November 5th, 1940 in Vapi, Gujarat , he was the son of the late Dayalji and Gajraben Desai. He was 85 years old. He came to the United States in 1978 and lived in Newburgh, NY for several years before moving to Piscataway, NJ. Before retiring Vinod was an accountant and auditor for the City of Newburgh. He enjoyed doing seva, staying up to date on the latest world news, and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Priyamvada; his loving daughters Sujal Desai (Nilesh) and Dipal Mehta (Jogen) both of Piscataway; his brother Kishore D. Desai of Pennsylvania and his beloved grandchildren Kiran and Roshni Desai and Shivam and Shailey Mehta. A Visitation and Pooja will be held on Saturday, November 29th, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at CrabielParkwest Funeral Chapel, 239 Livingston Avenue, New Brunswick 08901. Final Witness and Cremation will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick.
