Vinton was born on January 18, 1950 in Erwin to the late Sarah Jane Parker and Jesse Parker.
Vinton is survived by his devoted wife, Wanda Parker, and their children, Timmy Parker (Ashley), Gina Price (Matt), Christa Leviner (Cane); grandchildren, Danielle Parker (Chuy), Chandler Parker, Kiki North (Nate), Chase Price, Tyler Price, Caleigh Scott and Brianna Ward. He was also blessed with five great-grandchildren, Camila, Alexandra, Frida, Natasha, and Junior as well as many extended family members.
Vinton had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. His love for his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was evident in all he did. Known for his generous nature, he was always willing to lend a helping hand. Vinton enjoyed gardening and caring for his chickens, passions that brought him great joy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in Vinton's memory.
