Mrs. Viola Isma Brooks

Mrs. Viola Isma Marshall Brooks, age 90, of Bonifay, Florida passed away July 24, 2025, at her home. She was born June 15, 1935, in Holmes County, Florida to the late Elonzo Lon Marshall and Ether Lee Adams Marshall. In addition to her parents, Viola was preceded in death by two siblings, Virgina Shields and Doy Marshall.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by her husband of 56 years, Samuel Brooks Jr.; one daughter, Debra Gail Fields; three sons, Roger Clecker, Curtis Clecker, and Doy Clecker and fiancée, Suzan Robsin; thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Winterville Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in the New Effort Church Cemetery with Peel Funeral Home and Bonifay Crematory in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Winterville Assembly of God Church, 1897 Highway 177A, Bonifay, Florida.
