Viola Moya Obituary
Viola E. Moya, age 79, died in Thornton Colorado on November 14, 2024. She grew up in the oldest town in Colorado, San Luis Valley, then at 8 years old moved to Denver Colorado, with her family. She met Albert F. Moya Sr. in 1965 and was married July 13, 1968 . She had various careers throughout her adult life but made a focus as a homemaker and raising three boys.
Ms. Moya loved to travel the world, dance to her favorite songs, an avid bingo player and gambling with her husband Albert Sr., her children and grandchildren. She loved her TV game shows, the interaction with her grandchildren and cooking for her family and a huge Bronco fan. She is survived by her three sons, Ralph (Valerie), Gary and Albert Jr., 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, 1 sister and 2 brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Sr., her parents Roberto and Rebecca, 1 sister and 5 brothers.
Recitation of the Rosary will be at 6:00pm, Monday, December 2, 2024 at Horan & McConaty, 7577 W 80th Ave, Arvada CO 80003. Visitation will follow until 8:00pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00am Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Spirit of Christ, 7400 W 80th Ave, Arvada, CO 80003 with a reception immediately following in the Reception Hall.
Graveside Service will be at 2:30pm Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Ft Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236.
