Violet Douglas Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, William "John" and Lillian (Hart) Pierson, her husband Jimmy Douglas, brothers Scotty (Kay) Pierson, Willard Pierson and Douglas (Juanita) Pierson and a brother-in-law, Richard Allen Sayre.
Violet was a homemaker. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Douglas on October 5, 1962, her and Jimmy attended Bethel Church in Leon. She enjoyed time with her family gardening, cooking and home canning.
She is survived by her two sons, Ray and Gary Douglas sisters, Velva Pierson of Leon and Juanita Sayre of Racine, OH. along with many friends and extended family.
Services for Violet will be at Crow-Hussell Funeral Home on Thursday, May 8, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11:00 and funeral, officiated by Robert Patterson II at 12:00. Burial will follow at Yauger Cemetery, in Leon, WV.
