Rector, Violet V. Age 80 of Shelby Township, MI. died Thursday November 8, 2012 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, MI. She was born February 2, 1932 in Detroit, MI. Mrs. Rector is the daughter of Danish immigrants and retired from the Detroit Tank Arsenal in Warren, MI. where she worked in the accounting field. She was the devoted wife of the late Donald. Loving mother of Dean Rector of Shelby Township, Debbie Wetter of Shelby Township and Mary Alice Terryn of Montague, MI. She is remembered by many friends. Mrs. Rector enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening as well as camping and the beach. Funeral Tuesday 11:00am at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. (Shelby Township) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. Visitation Monday 3-8pm. Burial White Chapel. Memorial Tributes to The American Heart Association/Stroke Association are welcome.
