Violet Semancik Obituary
She was born in Moundsville, West Virginia, a daughter to the late Winford Herman and Garnet Marie (Johnson) Crane.
Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to nurturing and caring for children in her role as a childcare worker, displaying love and guidance to many young lives.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, George Semancik; brothers, Thomas and Herman Crane; sisters, Linda Crane, Betty Orgish, and Marie Patterson.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Maureen) Minor; grandchildren, Shannon Minor, Dalton (Lindsey) Minor; siblings, Pamela (Gary) Green, Charles (Kim) Crane, Kimberly (Joseph) Hores; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
Family and friends are to be received at the CARE Funeral Home 204 W. Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday, March 28, from 11am until time of service at 1:00pm. Final arrangements are at the convenience of the family.

Violet's journey through life was marked by her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to those around her. She will be dearly missed.
