Some of my best memories as achild growing up were Easter visits, Beach trips and Fishing trips with Aunt Violet and Uncle Harold. Those times were always full of fun, laughter, and adventure. Aunt Violet and I developed a real appreciationof smooth water after a few serious fishing outings out the New River Inlet. Aunt Violet liked to pick and have fun. When I learned how to photoshop people and scenes a few years ago she graciously let me create some memorable images with her in them. Aunt Violet photoshopped onto the Harley Davidson is priceless. My last great memory of Aunt Violet and Uncle Harold together will be that day at the lake holding the large catfish Uncle Harold caught. That one picture captured who they were and I know once again they can continue the beautiful journey they had here on earth together.
One phrase from the beautiful poem "Gone from Sight".. by Henry Van Dyke, says it best...Gone from my sight. That is all. She is just as large in mast,
hull and spar as she was when she left my side.
And, she is just as able to bear her load of living freight to her destined port. Her diminished size is in me -- not in her.
I will miss you. but I know I will see you and Uncle Harold again. Until then I just want to say thanks for all the love and happiness you shared with me over the years.
love always,

Neal
