Violet Marie Williams (née Simmons), age 60, passed away on February 2, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1965. Violet was preceded in death by her loving parents, Lawrence E. Simmons and Kathryn D.J. Simmons (née Sanders); her beloved husband, Mark R. Williams; and a number of brothers and sisters.
Violet is survived by her daughters, Veronica Simmons, Casandra Simmons (Robert Bittles), and Jessica Simmons; and her stepchildren, Nathan Williams and Nicole Williams. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, William Simmons, Emilia Alicea, Lake Bittles, and Gage Bittles.
Above all else, Violet loved her family. Though she could be a wild card at times, she was also one of the most giving people you could ever meet—never failing to be a wonderful mother and wife. She enjoyed puzzles, listening to music, and taking motorcycle rides with her husband Mark. Now reunited, Violet and Mark can ride eternally together.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Slone & Co. Funeral Directors.
