Violeta F Fajardo, a beloved mother, devoted grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 9, 2023, at the age of 82. Violeta was born on November of 1941 in the Philippines; she later migrated to the United States, where she built a remarkable life and left an indelible mark on those around her.
Violeta, known affectionately as Violet or Lita, was a woman of great strength and devotion. She pursued her education successfully earning a bachelor’s degree, which laid the foundation for her successful career as a dedicated teacher then supervisor in the medical field. Her unwavering commitment to her profession touched the lives of many. She truly had a knack for making everyone around her feel like family with supportiveness and love.
Beyond her professional achievements, Violet's greatest joy in life came from her loving family. She leaves behind a world of cherished memories as she is survived by her children, Frank Fajardo, Violet Copeland, Irene Box, and Gena Gipson. She was also blessed with three supportive son-in laws (Bill Copeland, Aaron Box & Don Yeaman), eight grandchildren (Jon-Quisha Herndon, Tim-Chely Copeland, Victoria Copeland, Robert Gipson, Lisa-Dylan McDowell, Aaron Lincoln Box, Justin Copeland & Alan Box) who were the apple of her eye, and six lovely great-granddaughters, whom she adored. Violet's love and dedication to her family knew no bounds, and her legacy of warmth, strength, and resilience will forever live on through them.
Outside of work and family, Violet had a zest for life that was contagious. She cherished the opportunities to travel, exploring new destinations with a genuine sense of adventure. Her other passions included indulging in retail therapy; she had a particular fondness for purses, shoes, and jewelry. Food was truly a love language of hers; she especially savored every bite of her favorite meal, Chicken Adobo, bringing the flavors of her Filipino heritage to the heart of her home.
To celebrate Violeta F Fajardo's remarkable life, for her family in Las Vegas, a viewing will be held on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at Davis Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00PM.
On January 2, 2024, a Rosary will be recited, providing a solemn moment of reflection and prayer in McCormick & Son Mortuary in Laguna Hills, California. The following day, January 3, 2024, Mass will be held at Santiago de Compostela church in Lake Forest, California with graveside Service to follow at Ascension Cemetery. Both events will allow family, friends, and members of the community to pay their respects and bid farewell to a beloved soul who touched their lives in so many ways.
Violet's journey on earth may have ended, but her spirit and legacy will continue to shine bright in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, forever loved and remembered.
