There was nothing like the anticipation of that big pot of dumplings Grandma Frenchie was cooking on the stove for Thanksgiving. The house smelled amazing from the moment you walked through the arched doorway. Delicious dishes of all types across the server in the dining room and every inch of kitchen counter space. A full house saying grace, then diving in.
