Virgie Jett Baker

Virgie Jett Baker born September 15, 1959, Virgie was surrounded by her family when she passed away at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky on Monday – March 2, 2026, being 66 years old. Virgie was born in Gays Creek, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Ford Jett and the late Teabitha Smith Jett. Other than her parents Virgie was also preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hank Baker; sisters, Sophia, Elizabeth, Christine, Nancy; brothers, Ray, June, Pierce.

Virgie Baker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughters, Stacy Young & Silas, Tara Fields & Richard, Hank Bradley Baker & Vickie, April Campbell & Harlan, Natasha & Roy Reynolds; sisters, Wanda, Marie, Faye, and Janet; brothers, Paul, Sim; grandchildren, Dylan Young, Bradley Baker, Emily and Jewelene Johnson, Cassidy and Austin Morris, Keisha Paige Fields, Christian Chandler Campbell, August Reynolds, Raylenn Fugate, Kyler Reynolds, Spencer Reynolds, Kyree Colwell, Kase Reynolds, and Lincoln Maggard; great-grandchildren, Aspen, Carson, Haleigh, Carter, and Baby Morris on the way; Special Friends, Momma Kay and Wayne Raichel, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

A Memorial Service for Virgie J. Baker will be conducted on Friday- March 6, 2026 at 8:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Ritchie Miller officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
