Virgil W. Sluis

Sluis, Virgil W. 78 of Lutz passed away on Saturday February 16, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. Virgil is survived by his wife of 56 years Nellie at home, daughters Rosemary Spievey and Elsie and her husband David Cooney of Zephyrhills, Conniemae Smith of Lutz and Cathy Westmoreland of Defuniak Springs, Fl. three brothers Arnold and Bill both of Minnesota and Raymond Sluis of California, 7 grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews. Virgil was predeceased by his son Lou Alan Sluis in 1959. Family and Friends may visit at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home in Temple Terrace Tuesday February 19,from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 20, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Blount Curry Funeral Home Terrace Oaks Chapel interment will follow at the family plot in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
