Although I didn't know Curly Thompson, the name is very familiar to me. My brother, Jim Farris was friends with Curly. I didn't think it could be the same man but after reading the obituary, I know he's the same man. They both went to Ludlow High School. They were friends in life; I'm 17 years younger than them but 'remember Jim's friends names as the "fun partners in crime" stories were told. I extend my sympathy to the family. He must have been a wonderful man, as were all those friends of Jim's. Jim passed on Dec. 6, 2002 Prayers for comfort for the family. I'm sure they've met up again.

I prayed for a nice neighbor at the Baptist Village when I heard someone new was coming. Then one day, two apartments down, out of the door came this adorable man, with a big smile, looking at me. To top it off he attended Ludlow High School, my alma mater. What a blessing to know Curly, for me and everyone here. My sympathy to his family, he was much loved.
