Virginia T. Andreacchio, 72, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Ginny, as she was known to her family and friends, was born in Philadelphia on September 17, 1951 to the late Joseph and Helen (née Cunningham) Parise. She was the wife to Louis J. Andreacchio with whom she is survived by.
To Ginny, family was everything. She took the role of caretaker by caring for her grandmother, parents, and children. She was a natural born matriarch. She was always fair and kind and saw the best in people. The things that brought the most joy to her life were laughing with her husband, listening to music and dancing. She also enjoyed reading and had a knack for learning.
Ginny was the loving mother to her daughters Angela M. Knauss (Jim), and Gina M. Andreacchio; a caring grandmother to Dylan, Breana, and Matthew. She is also survived by her siblings: Kathy Clinton, Pat Parise (Judy), Carol Lafferty, and Joe Parise (Lisa). She was predeceased by her sister, Helene Snyder (Evan). Additionally, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who all loved Aunt Ginny.
Relatives and friends are invited to Ginny's Life Celebration on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m. at the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 10975 Academy Rd. Philadelphia, PA 19154 and to her memorial mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Roman Catholic Church, 212 Welsh Rd. Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. Luncheon to follow.
Family services are entrusted under the care of the John F. Givnish Life Celebration Home, 215-281-0100
