Virginia P. Beck, 83, of Dallas, GA passed away Friday, July 19, 2024. Service will be held at West Cobb Funeral Home at 2 pm on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Internment will be held Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 1:30 pm at the Georgia National Cemetary in Canton, GA.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Charles E. Beck Sr., her parents, Alden and Virginia Pitcock, her sisters, Kittie Garrett and Sharon Colburn, and her son, Alvin Slatton.
She was survived by her sister, Patricia Butler of Sparta, TN, her children, Kimberly Wigley of Villa Rica, GA, Kitrina Brooks of Dallas, GA, and Lee Blevins of Dallas, GA, her 13 grandchildren, and 26 great-grandchildren.
Virginia worked for over 30 years in telecommunications and was a long-standing member of the telephone pioneers. She enjoyed dancing with the Boot Scooters of Bartow County and traveling the world. She was a strong, independent woman who loved her family dearly.
The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 12 - 2 pm with the service immediately following.
