Enrico, my heart goes out to you. I did not know. Elaine just this very moment discovered and showed me this page. Over the years, you described her to me very well. She was a good person and exceptional person, and now is truly free.

And you are so special too. I pray for both of you.

I had the pleasure of working at a day program where Virginia volunteered. She was the kindest, most compassionate and empathetic person you could meet. She was especially good at working with individuals with cerebral palsy and had a special connection with a number of those participants. Her commitment to volunteering was inspiring, reflecting what a giving person she was.

I was just searching for another obituary and came upon this - I am so so sorry for this loss. I hired Virginia at a day program I managed in Mattapan over 20 years ago and she worked for us as a volunteer for several years. Never had I met such a caring, wonderful and giving person. Our clients adored her. Although very private, she spoke of Enrico often. Heaven has gained a good one! My deepest condolences...Kathleen Flaherty
