Virginia Rose Cadiente passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 87.
Virginia was born on July 18, 1938, to her parents Leon Christopher Wilson and Nola Joy Wilson of Aromas, CA. She was a resident of Watsonville, California and graduated from Watsonville High School where she was an avid athlete. She played the position of catcher in baseball, point guard in basketball and was a member of the state champion badminton team. She was also known for being a majorette in the marching band.
She was preceded by her late son John Henry Goret and 9 brothers as well as 3 sisters.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Cadiente and Diana Cadiente-McGuffey; her 102-year-old brother Christopher Wilson of Richmond, CA; her sister Margaret Hopper-Parker of Lodi, CA; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service is set for Sunday, July 19, 2026, at 2 P.M. at Green Valley Christian Church in Watsonville, CA.
