Virginia Clyde Dodd (Jinnie Clyde) age 79. A resident of De Queen, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior at the Bear Creek nursing home on April 25, 2024.
She was born on September 27, 1944, in Mobile, Alabama. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, watching her favorite show TBN, and listening to Christian music.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Martha Carlton, second husband, James Gass, Jr.; her brother Edward Carlton, and her son, Gary Bridges.
She is survived by five children, Ed Bridges and wife Mia, James Gass and wife Kristin, Jon Gass and wife Heather, Jeremy Gass and wife, Charlotte, and Crystal Dickerson and husband, Branden. Grandkids Jonathan, Cody, Eden, Elena (husband Timmy), Brandon, Haven, Nathan, Phoebe, Brooklyn, Jasper, Kylo, Isaiah, McKayla, Pierson, Maddox, Rhett, Allie, and Lane. Great grandkids, Paisley, AJ, and Auroa, and one on the way; and three nephews, Sean, Joseph, and Scott Carlton.
Funeral services for Ms. Dodd will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James D. Copp officiating. Burial will follow at Redmen Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the funeral home in De Queen.
