Going to my Aunt Ginny's was like going to the most fun place a child could go. We always had Kool Aid popsicles from her deep freezer & they always tasted super delicious!! Children always got special attention from Aunt Ginny. She would read Pinocchio to us over and over...she seemed never to tire of reading it to us. She would try to instill in us the real life application of the meaning of that wonderful story. Personally, my all time fave! I am sure it was because of my Aunt Ginny.
Her house was always open for her kin folk. Many times my dad would say, "let's go to Ginny's...all five of us would be in the car before he could get out the door! She and my Uncle Leroy were the best to us kids! Grafton, You were so lucky to have such wonderful loving parents!!
..I have many fond memories of this precious woman. She loved God & many times would say..I pray to Him every day. She so longed to be with her beloved husband Leroy. Now they are together again.
If there was good in a person, Aunt Ginny would find it. Everyone loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Farewell to my dear Aunt Ginny...heaven has one more reason for me to be there...I am sure you are with Leroy, Granny and Grandpa and every child that you ever impacted has already hugged you! My heart aches, but I wouldn't wish you back...You've seen Jesus and that alone is reason enough not to wish you back!!
I will always love you & the memories you and I shared!!
Lovingly,
Joni Borrell
