Virginia Hesser Obituary
January 19, 1941 - June 26, 2025
Virginia (Ginny) Hesser, age 84, beloved Mom, Nana, and MomMom, passed away peacefully at her home on June 26, 2025. Born in Charleston, West Virginia, she was one of twelve children. She relocated to New Jersey in her early twenties and remained a lifelong resident. Mrs. Hesser dedicated much of her career to the hospitality industry, working as a waitress at Zaberer's Restaurant and Seaview Country Club, and serving for over thirty years as a banquet server at the Tropicana Casino. Virginia found great joy in surrounding herself with children, especially her treasured grandchildren, whom she adored. She was also an accomplished seamstress who loved to sew in her spare time. She took pride in making clothing, quilts, and thoughtful handmade gifts for her family and friends. Her sewing projects were known for their care and craftsmanship, and she often shared her talents generously, creating cherished heirlooms that will be remembered for years to come. She was predeceased by her husband, John Hesser; her parents, Sherman and Inez Martin; and ten of her siblings. She is survived by her two daughters: Cindy Emerle (Larry) of Merritt Island, Florida, and Loretta Bryte (Chuck) of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Aaron Emerle (Kelley), Jordan Macomber, Taylor Emerle (Josh), John Macomber, Stephan Cruz, Shaylynn Cruz, and Brielle Cruz. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, June 30th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc. in Northfield, New Jersey with a service to begin at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Laurel Memorial Park in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.
