Virginia Knipper Obituary

Virginia Catherine Knipper, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at 85. Born in Newport, KY on June 22, 1939, Virginia was a woman who brought warmth, kindness and love to all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Adeline Ronnebaum; her sisters MaryAnn and Jeanette Ronnebaum; her brothers Paul and Robert Ronnebaum; her sister Linda Nienaber; her son-in-law Michael Dorger; her grandchildren Catherine, Grace, and Erin; and her beloved Yorkie Max.
Virginia is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Leo Knipper; her sons, Mark (Sherri) Knipper, Gregory Knipper, and Stephen (Stephanie) Knipper; daughters Lisa Dorger, Terri Holten, and Jennifer (Casey) Moser; her siblings Norma Burgan, Diane Ronnebaum, Anita Cundiff, and Margaret Lacey; 25 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved Yorkie, Max, who brought her much joy.
Virginia was a nurturing and loving mother, grandmother, and mentor who cared deeply for her family and friends. She had a green thumb and found great joy in gardening, where her nurturing spirit shone brightly. A devoted wife and mother, Virginia's love and guidance will live on through her children and grandchildren. Her presence in the family was a source of strength and unconditional love.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, from 9:30 to 11 AM at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood. Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow at 11 AM at St Pius X. Virginia will be laid to rest at Mother of God Cemetery, Latonia. All online condolences can be left at www.LinemannFuneralHomes.com.
Virginia will be greatly missed, but her memory will forever be a guiding light for all who knew and loved her.
