Virginia McDougale, 81 of New Haven, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Baptist Hardin Health. She was born on June 10, 1944 in Louisville. Virginia worked for Tasty Bread, a member of New Haven Baptist Church where she loved teaching Children's Bible School, she also loved playing bingo and being at family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchel S. McDougale; grandson, Robert O'Bryan; great-grandson, Shane Humphrey; parents, Raymond and Beatrice Baugh; and two brothers, Bobby Baugh and Larry Baugh.

She is survived by three daughters, Bonita McDougale, Laura Brown (Allen) and Melissa Bartley (Scott); four grandchildren, Jennifer Shelton (Will), Amanda Jackson (Matt), Andrew Bartley (Christina) and Zachary Bartley; thirteen great-grandchildren, Dylan Harris, Kaitlyn Gilpin, Chelsea Rogers, Jordan Rogers, Sierra Sturgeon, Ashton Sturgeon, Quentin Jackson, Collin Jackson, Eli O'Bryan, Raelyn Bartley, Kamdyn Downs, Zeplin Beavers, and Phoenix Howell; five great-great grandchildren, Kali Crowe, Paisley Rogers, Tucker Rogers, Hayden Sturgeon and Waylon Humphrey; three brothers, Billy Baugh (Phyllis), Danny Baugh (Mary Ann) and Kevin Baugh (Carrie); sister, Terri Webb (Darrell); sister-in-law, Debbie Baugh: several nieces, nephews and her little dog, Daisy.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home with burial at St. Thomas Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 - 8 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2025 and 9 - 11 A.M. Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go towards the funeral service.
