Virginia Ann Meador

Virginia “Ginny” A. (nee McCormack) Meador died peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Tommy Meador. Ginny is survived by her five children, Denny (Ginny) Meador, Debbie (the late Jim) Heslar, Mark Meador, Monica (Chris) Kaesemeyer, and Melissa Meador. She is the proud grandma "Gigi" to 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 soon-to-arrive great-great grandchild. Ginny was born on April 21, 1927, in Sparta, Kentucky. She lived a very full life for 98 years surrounding herself with her big family and lots of friends. Ginny loved going to sporting events and dance recitals for her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she belonged to the SilverSneakers walking group into her 90s and never turned down an invitation to a social event or party. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, from 10AM until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 7121 Plainfield Rd. (45236) Deer Park.  Interment will immediately follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association or Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind, 371 E.
