Virginia "Colleen" Miller was born November 28, 1945, and passed away November 24, 2025, at the age of 79.
She was born and raised in Orange, Texas, where she developed the strong values, work ethic, and kindness that shaped her life. She later attended and proudly graduated from Stark High School.

Throughout her career in retail, she was known for her friendly smile, her patience, and her ability to make anyone feel welcome. Coworkers and customers alike appreciated her warm personality and dedication.

Among the many experiences that enriched her life, the one she cherished most was her time in Okinawa, Japan. There, she had the opportunity to teach English to children, a role that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. She often spoke of how deeply the culture, the students, and the community touched her heart.

She will be remembered for her compassion, her adventurous spirit, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.

She is survived by her children, Joseph Lippeatt and wife Marty, and Ronald McKinley and wife Jennifer; brother, Raymond Smith and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Alex, Keagan, and Ellie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Miller; parents, Raymond C. and Emron Idell Smith; and brother, William H. Smith.

Cremation was entrusted to Dorman-Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 8808 Highway 87 North, Orange, Texas.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

Family would like to thank Altus Hospice and Gilbert's Assisted Living for their caregiving.
