Virginia "Nora" Ohannesian

Virginia N. "Nora" (Vartanian) Ohannesian, age 94, passed away on February 1, 2022 at Blaire House of Milford. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul G. Ohannesian for 57 years.
She was born in Watertown and the daughter of the late Krikor Vartanian and Aroxy Vartanian Keropian, and stepdaughter of the late John Keropian.
Virginia was a graduate of Milford High School and worked for 20 years as a baker for the school system. She was a lifelong member of the Armenian Veteran's Auxiliary. She and Paul enjoyed winters in Florida and spending summers at their summer home in Onset. She was known for her authentic Armenian food that was enjoyed by friends and family.
She was the loving mother of Gregory Ohannesian and his wife Rose, and Harry Ohannesian and his wife Pamela. She was a supportive grandmother to Alex Ohannesian and his wife Allie, Dan Ohannesian and his wife Stefany, and Ari Ohannesian. She also leaves her step-grandchildren, Will, Mae, and Erin, and their spouses. She was the great-grandmother to Lucy, Annie, Jenny, Elijah, and Bentley Ohannesian, and also Richard Sheridan. She was predeceased by her sisters Grace Bogoian and Rose Keshigian, as well as her brother Jack Vartanian. She also leaves her sister-in-law Patricia Vartanian, and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday Feb. 5, 2022 from 9:30-11 AM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St, Milford followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery, Milford.
