Send FlowersVirginia L. Presnall, 95, formerly of Jonesboro, died, Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Heritage Pointe of Warren, where she had been a resident for the past nine years.
Virginia was born on August 11, 1930 in Hartford City, Indiana. She graduated from Hartford City High School, Class of 1948. She met Louie E. Presanall at Circle G Saddle Club. They married on August 1, 1948. Louie preceded her in death on January 24, 2010. Virginia was first and foremost a hardworking farmer's wife raising six children. Her second career was being a surgical nurse at Marion General Hospital for over 20 years. Virginia was very connected with each generation of her family. She taught her girls to sew and was in 4-H leadership for many years. She was a very artistic lady, loving painting and crafts of all kinds. She loved taking square dancing and ballroom dancing lessons. Through out the years she attended both Fairmount Friends and Grace Community Church. She also loved to play euchre and had been a part of the same club for many years.
Virginia is survived by her six children; Mike ( Sherry) Presnall, Jonesboro, Randi Thompson, Muncie, Robin Musick, Jonesboro, Mark (Jody) Presnall, Jonesboro, Rhonda (Hank) Cincere, Franklin, TN, and Shelly (Mike) Row, Yorktown; 10 grandchildren, Brian (Ann) Presnall, Dawn Shane, Brad (Ellen) Soultz, Brooke (Curt) Hull, Brandon (Cara) Cincere, Kyle (Renada) Cincere, Gwyn (Abram) Slater, Jeryl (Bill) Mitchell, Sean (Sara) Row, and Seth (Abby) Row; 26 Great Grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; brother, Max (Carolyn) Dillie; and a niece and nephew.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, John and Loma (Parker) Dillie, husband Louie, sister, Joan Workman and sons-in-law, Tim Musick and Joe Thompson.
Services for Virginia have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Life Celebration Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 S. Main Street, Fairmount, Indiana where services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025. Visitation is from 11 AM- 1 PM with the funeral service beginning at 1 PM with Pastor Ginny Soultz officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 E. 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
