Virginia Grace Tucker

Virginia Grace Tucker was born on March 13, 1931, and grew up in Dallas, Texas. She passed away peacefully on November 24, 2025, in San Antonio at the age of 94. Virginia married her high school sweetheart Henry, and together they shared a life marked by love, dedication, and service. His career in the United States Air Force took them to various places before ultimately leading them to settle in San Antonio upon his retirement.

A proud graduate of Our Lady of the Lake University, Virginia earned her teaching degree and went on to inspire and educate students in both the Natalia ISD and San Antonio ISD school districts. Her commitment to education and her passion for helping young minds flourish left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Virginia was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church, where she formed lifelong friendships and served her community with grace and kindness.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years Henry Keith Tucker, Sr. and her son Henry Keith Tucker, Jr. who passed in 2016. She is survived by her daughters and their spouses, Sandra Williamson, Ginia Littlepage and Toni Thompson; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren across Austin, Arizona, Washington State, and San Antonio; her nieces and nephews in the Dallas and Austin areas; and a host of extended family members and cherished friends.

Her love, generosity, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
