Resident of Schaumburg for 48 years
Virginia Marie Vrbancic, born on October 13, 1945 in Chicago to the late Sigmund and Mary Pas, passed away peacefully April 26, 2023 in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 4 from 10:00 – 5:00pm, with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4:00pm at Michaels Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 800 S Roselle Road, Schaumburg, Illinois 60193.
She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Daniel Joseph Vrbancic. Virginia worked many years as a registered nurse and educator for Lutheran General Hospital, Humana Health Care, and Abbott Laboratories.
Virginia, best known as Ginny, enjoyed swimming, bike riding, gardening, and furthering her education, resulting in a Master's Degree. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
She was the devoted mother to Jennifer (Michael) Flatt, Cynthia Vrbancic, and Daniel (Deirdre) Vrbancic; beloved grandmother to Mason, Ian, Owen, Sophia, Daniel III, and Mickey; caring sister to Antoinette (James) Zygowicz, Theresa Biele, and Katherine (Thomas) Nitz.
