Surviving are her four sons: Harvey Ray Burch (Violet), Samuel Owen Burch, Donald Michael Burch and Paul Anthony Twiford; fourteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters: Mary Whitfield Evans, Joan Whitfield Hill, and Clara Whitfield Eakes; her sister-in-law, Alice Zimmerman Whitfield; several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was predeceased by her husbands Owen Lester Burch and Donald Lee Twiford and brothers, George Whitfield and Henry Whitfield, and two grandchildren.
Virginia's Celebration of Life will be held 12 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Antioch Baptist Church in Timberlake, NC with the Dr. M.David Chambers officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service(11-12). Burial will be at Person Memorial Cemetery.
