Mrs. Virginia Pruitt Whitlow, 80, of Alton, VA went to be with the lord Saturday, October 19, 2024. She was born on December 20,1943 in Danville, VA to the late Tom Pruitt and the late Virginia Henderson Pruitt. Mrs. Whitlow was married for 35 years to the love of her life the late Morrell Whitlow. She was a member of Sandy Creek Baptist Church in Sutherlin, VA. Virginia loved staying at home, where she felt at peace. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at the Whitlow Family Cemetery Sunday, October 27, 2024, 2:00 PM with Rev. Jimmy Bibee officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside. Public viewing will be available at Powell Funeral Home, Friday and Saturday prior to the service.
