Viviano Ramon Jr. passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 73. He was born on April 16, 1952, in Seguin, Texas to Viviano and Dora (Romero) Ramon.
Viviano lived a life marked by hard work and dedication to his family. He was a devoted family man that found great joy in family gatherings, always valuing the time spent with his loved ones. A diligent worker, Viviano also dedicated many years to his roles at Purina Feed & Supply and Brooks Feed Store. His commitment to service continued as he retired from Seguin ISD, where he worked as a custodian for many years. Viviano will be remembered as a supportive and caring father, grandfather, and a hardworking individual.
Viviano was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Ramon; parents, Viviano Ramon Sr. and Dora Ramon; brothers Johnny, Alfredo, and Jesse Ramon, as well as his sister, Lupe Miranda.
Viviano is survived by his sons, Edward Ramon (Nadia), and Viviano Ramon III (Sonia). He took immense pride in his role as a grandfather to his grandchildren: Victoria Ramon, Isabella Ramon, Nicholas Ramon, Serena Ramon, and Cynthia Knudson (George), as well as his great-grandchildren, Rhyan and Wade Knudson. He is further survived by his twin brother, Martin Ramon; brother, Fernando Ramon (Evangelina); sisters, Alice Garcia, Dora Villareal (Marshall), and Minerva Torres (Ernesto), all of whom will hold dear the memories of the times shared with him.
Visitation will be held at Goetz Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Holy Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery in Geronimo, Texas.
