Vladimir J. DeBruyn, 21, of Glendale, AZ, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. He was the husband of Kyra R. (Seiders) DeBruyn. They celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary this past March.
Born in the Republic of Korea on June 14, 2004, he was the son of Grant A. and Meyling A. (Juarez) DeBruyn of Pine Grove. He graduated from Myerstown Enrichment Center with the Class of 2022. He enlisted with the U.S. Air Force on June 4, 2024, and was stationed at Luke Air Force Base, AZ. Vladimir was devoted to God, his wife, and his child. He enjoyed everything about the outdoors including playing with his son and dog, rock climbing, caving, hiking, mountain biking, running, kayaking, and backpacking. Vladimir also enjoyed riding his motorcycle every chance he could. Vladimir thoroughly enjoyed God's creation and was always seeking to see more of it whenever possible.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by his son Torren M. DeBruyn of Glendale, AZ; brothers: Thor husband of Lily DeBruyn of Augusta, GA, Conan, Ivan and Ulysses DeBruyn, all of Pine Grove; sisters: Anaja, Hadassah and Petra DeBruyn, all of Pine Grove; maternal grandparents Aury and Rene Juarez of Shepherd, TX; and paternal grandparents Walter and Gayle DeBruyn of Sutherland, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a viewing beginning at 11:00 a.m. until the start of the service. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery followed by a reception at Ono Fire Hall, 10805 Jonestown Rd., Jonestown, PA.
