Vladimir Mikhailovich Peskin passed away on June 11, 2025, at the age of 89, after a long time battling illness.
Vladimir Mikhailovich Peskin was born on April 22, 1936, in Nizhny Novgorod. He was the only child of his parents, Mikhail Abramovich and Raisa Grigoryevna.
Vladimir attended primary school number 82 with a mathematical focus. He graduated with a gold medal. His name can still be seen on the alumni board. After finishing school, he studied at the Nizhny Novgorod Polytechnic University, specializing in shipbuilding. In 1958, after graduating from the university, he went to Khabarovsk and worked there as a lead designer for ship building. There he met Lidiya Semyonovna.
In 1962, he returned to Nizhny Novgorod, and the following year Lidiya moved to join him in Nizhny Novgorod, where they got married. His daughter Lena was born in 1965.
In 1968, Vladimir went on a long business trip to Poti in Georgia. In 1973, the family returned to Nizhny Novgorod.
Vladimir worked for many years at the Krasnoye Sormovo plant as deputy chief designer at the Central Design Bureau for hydrofoils.
Vladimir always loved to travel. In his youth, he often went skiing, went to the Carpathians in the late 1960s.
In the 1980s, they received a plot of land for gardening. He built a house there himself. He loved gardening. Many fruits and vegetables grew in his garden.
In 1998, he retired. Two years later, he moved with his wife to the United States, following his daughter and her family. In retirement in the United States, he spent time with his family, took his granddaughter to school, and helped friends and relatives with repairs and various repairs. All his loved ones could always rely on him. Vladimir was an excellent craftsman and helped many with repairs. He could fix almost any mechanism if something broke.
Vladimir went on many cruises with Lidiya, visited different countries and new cities in the USA. They traveled around Europe several times.
In his last years, even being seriously ill, he maintained his composure and tried to support his loved ones. Mikhalych was loved by everyone who knew him.
