Vona Erickson Obituary
Vona Coral Erickson, age 73, of Ham Lake, Minnesota, died Wednesday, December 18, 2024. Vona had a huge loving heart for all her family and friends. She loved her time with each and everyone of them. From her time playing cards, to cake and cookie making, to her arts and crafts with the grandkids, each moment was filled with love. Vona enjoyed camping, sitting by the fire and having family cookouts at the camper. Her beautiful smile, laugh and heart of never-ending love will be missed by each and every person who was honored to know her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lorine Hagert; brother, Richard Hagert. Vona is survived by her husband, Steve Erickson; daughter, Kelly (Mike) Moss; son, Scott (Judy) Erickson; brother, Tom (Sue) Hagert; sister, Elaine Hagert; grandchildren, Katie, Brittney, Allen, Mariah, James, Ali; great grandsons, Santiago and Diego.
The family will greet friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A time of sharing will be held at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family.
