His leadership and commitment to justice have left a lasting impact, and his love for his family will be cherished forever. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: James Wren and Russell Wren.

W.A. is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Melba Wren of the home; one son, Curt Wren (Renay) of St. Clairsville, Ohio; one daughter, Sherry Felts (Benton) of Joiner, Ark.; three grandchildren, Wren Felts (Caley) of Joiner, Ark., Matthew Wren (Chessie) of Walnut Creek, Calif., Morgan Wren (John Ferris) of Atlanta, Ga.; two great-grandchildren, Hattie Wren Felts and Kaden Koopmann; three nieces, Donna Harris, Laura Sims and Lana Bell; one nephew, Russell Wren, Jr. and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at Keiser First Baptist Church on Monday, March 30, at 12 p.m., and a visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Louise Chapel Cemetery, Joiner.
