Augusta, GA – Wesley David Williams, Jr., 51, entered into rest Friday, October 20, 2023.
David was a lifelong resident of Augusta. He worked as an HVAC technician and was the owner of Williams Heating & Air. David was a die hard fan of football, especially Georgia and the Falcons. He loved baseball (Braves) and basketball. He had a love of the outdoors, whether it was camping, hunting or fishing. He really enjoyed being on the water, whether it was at the lake, the ocean or a pond. Fishing was definitely a favorite pastime that he shared with his children, family and friends.
Family members include his children: Hunter Lauren Williams, Mason Ryan Edwards (Hank), Collin Williams, and Cooper Williams; mother: Kathy Williams; sister: Renae Vickers (Chip); nephew: Nick Givens (Lauren); nieces: Bella Valverde, Tori Valverde, and Kyra Vickers; numerous extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Wesley David Williams, Sr.
The funeral service will be held Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating.
