Waddhana Nuon Obituary
Waddhana "Dana" Nuon recently passed away due to health complications. He was born on July 25, 1972.
He attended four esteemed universities: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Lafayette College, Manchester University, and James Madison University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science in 1995.
Dana was a technical leader and iOS software engineer specially trained in Computer Science. He founded Lunaray Interactive Media and was an avid world traveler. He also participated in humanitarian missions to help Ukrainian refugees.
He is survived by his father, Samuel Nuon, his mother, Chamroeun Chhuon, and his younger brother, Viriya Nuon.
Dana's family will receive friends at Bliley's – Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4 to 6 p.m. The funeral service will be at Monument Heights Baptist Church on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 10 am, followed by immediate burial at Westhampton Memorial Park at 12 p.m.
Flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made to Monument Heights Baptist Church, Cambodian Refugee Fund.

I´m shocked and heartbroken to hear this. Dana was so kind and thoughtful. An amazing cook. So curious and talented and always up for adventure. He meant so much to me.

I'm so sad to hear this. I was friends with Dana when I lived in DC around 2002-2005 as part of the MeetIN social group. It was always nice to see him at events and I'm sad to hear of his passing. I send best wishes to his family and friends.
