Adam "Wade" Glenn
Wade Glenn passed away suddenly on December 12, 2025, with his wife by his side.
Wade was born to Shirley Wahlstrom Phipps and Irv Glenn on October 8, 1967. Adam was the eldest of five brothers, one stepbrother, and two sisters.
From the very beginning, Wade was a mischievous little boy. He relentlessly teased his brothers while trying to convince them to make him a sandwich and he would pay them a buck. Then he'd just say, "put it on my tab."
Wade loved football and would create a living room field so he could tackle his little brothers. The Pittsburgh Steelers and the Chicago Bears were his favorite teams, along with the New York Yankees.
Wade attended school in Roy, where he met most of his friends. When he was just eight years old he got his first transistor radio. This is where Wade's love of music started.
Over the years, he played the bass guitar for several local bands. Wade was a lover of rock & roll and he played it loud. He had an extensive collection of music and instruments that he kept in his band room. Wade loved to listen to Eddie Van Halen and Michael Anthony. Music was a big part of who Wade was, and it showed in his style.
Just out of high school, he enlisted in the Utah National Guard. This is where he learned to operate a crane and eat everything on bread.
In the spring of 2004, Wade met the love of his life, Lisa. They were married on a beautiful summer morning in 2005. Together, they had one son, Garrett, whom Wade was so proud of. Wade taught Garrett to play the bass guitar and instilled in him the importance of sobriety and education.
Wade loved the mountains, beautiful sunsets, and sunflowers. He liked long drives, horseback riding, and camping. Wade could make anyone laugh with his impersonations and hilarious sense of humor. Laughter was his medicine.
Wade was a very loving and caring grandpa. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He tried to pass along his love for music to them. He loved them so much and would do anything to make them laugh.
Wade was an amazing husband. He treated his wife like a princess, and would move heaven and earth for whatever she needed. They were the best of friends, always teasing each other and holding hands. Not a day went by that Wade didn't tell Lisa he loved her. Wade was always trying to do his best to express his optimism for life, and the many blessings they shared. His unconditional love was steady and unwavering.
Wade, we don't know how to continue on without you here. I only hope we make you proud and keep the music alive everyday.
We love you.
Wade had his difficulties and challenges in life, but always tried his best to meet difficulties head-on and remain optimistic.
Wade was met at the gates of heaven by his niece, Jade, his granddaughter, Aubree Jo, grandparents Carrie and Kenneth Wahlstrom, his father-in-law Hal McEntire, and two of his good friends, Trent and Brian.
Wade is survived by his wife, Lisa Glenn, his mother, Shirley Phipps (Roger), four brothers and two sisters, Ronnie (Jessica), Brandon (Chad), Sheldon, Bryan (Shelby), Joe Phipps, Andrea (Steve), and Sharadawn. He is survived by his beloved son, Garrett (Isabelle), and two bonus children, Brandi (Cody) and Cassidy. He is survived by his four grandchildren and one greatgrandchild, Brynlee, Corbin, Maddie, Wiley, and D'vil.
