Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this month and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Wade Michael Twyman US Army Specialist.

We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community, their families and friends and others who support our mission.

We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you safe and strong.

Sincerely,
Charlie Gili & Family

Today I ran in honor of SPC Wade Michael Twyman. We are stationed at Ft. Lewis and run every Saturday with Wear Blue: Run to Remember. We are a non profit group that runs in the memory of fallen soldiers. We start with prayer and reading of service members names we have lost this week in time. I ran for SPC Twyman and I wanted you to know that he was in my thoughts and prayers the whole run and I carried his name with me. Thank you for your sacrifice and service.

Hey Buddy,

Think of you often. I have the letter that you sent to me along with a picture of you in your boating and military uniforms in a frame in my office, so I greet you every morning. I also have your boating cap on my shelf and have your boating shirt tucked away. Different people come into my office, read your letter and comment on how they miss you. You sure made an impact on this little town. In fact, a bunch of us got together and purchased a pin flag for the Wade Tyman Golf Tournament. We can always count on Sparky and Jason. We miss you buddy, thank you for the great memories.

Wade, thank you so much for your service and to the Twymans, thank you so much for your sacrifice. Wade rode with me a few times on the Sheriffs Dept in San Diego when he was an Explorer. You knew he was special the first time you met him. Thank you Wade, you are obviously missed, but never forgotten.

There is nothing that I can say or do to take away the pain or bring you peace in your time of sorrow, but I will offer you and your family my heart felt condolences. I also offer you my prayers that in time the pain will easy and the memories of your HERO will carry you through each day and night. I want to thank your HERO, for his/her selfless act of becoming a member of the armed forces, his/her willingness to defend the United States of America, all that we hold sacred and for the sacrifice that will forever be etched in the memories of all those who knew him/her. Though tears can never bring him/her back, we hope that our tears express our gratitude for the sacrifice that he/she made and our sorrow at his/her passing. I believe for every fallen HERO there is a star shining brightly up above to remind us of the precious gift we were given.

Your mission on earth is complete and you are now a member of GOD’s Heavenly armed forces. Stand down brave warrior and take your rightful place in Heaven with all the HEROES who have passed before.

I made a special promise to LE RON A. WILSON, a dear family friend who joined the Army with three other friends, one of whom is my son (Le Ron was killed in action on 07/06/07 at the age of 18) on the day he was laid to rest as I touched his coffin, that I would never forget him nor would I forget those that gave their lives for our country before him, with him and after him and so when I came across www.legacy.com, I thought what a great way to keep my promise to Le Ron, so I will continue to leave tributes in each guest book until the day there is no longer the need to leave these tributes to a FALLEN HERO.

REST IN PEACE, HERO, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!

Twyman,

It's been awhile my friend. I can still remember it like it was yesterday. Goofin' off in Korea tryin to pass the time. Cracking jokes before and after the missions. Talking about going to Europe and getting a place in Colorado after the tour. I miss those funny expressions you had that always made me laugh no matter how cold, or hot, or rainy or crappy the situation was. I could use some of those moments these days. A part of me will be with you and Mac always. Sometimes it's hard to handle. Something happened that day that made the world a darker place and the memory is never far from me. I never got the chance to buy you that first beer when we got back, but I will see you again some day my friend and we will laugh again. You will never be forgotten.

Hey Wade,

Just want to let you know that all of us here at the La Paz County Sheriff's Office think of you and tell different stories of when you were here. Some of us attended the 2005/2006 awards banquet for the High School. One of the students received a scholarship in your name. You have touched a lot of peoples heart. As for me, your not to far away. I have a picture of you in uniform, attached to the letter you sent me on my wall. I know that Nicole, Robin and myself were very heartbroken because we were unable to attend the services. Maybe someday we'll be able to make plans to go and see you. Until then you will always be in our hearts.

Until next time.

Wade,

Sparky, Jason and I came to visit you on Saturday. We spent a little time in silence and then began to tell “Wade stories”. It was a sad, but honorable visit. I noticed that Glenn left a K-9 pin. I spoke to the Sheriff who asked me to say hi for him as well.

Always in my thoughts and prayers.

Wade, It's been a year and Guy,Jason and I went by and sat by you. We talked of memories of things we did together. It is getting closer to summer and the river will be getting busy again. We will be missing a valued member of the Dive Rescue team each time we board the boat. Guy and I discussed an idea and agreed on attaching a set of tweezers to our dive gear. When Jason completes his dive training and gets his gear he will also attach a tweezer to his gear. This will be our "specialized equipment" for every dive.

God Love Ya Wade!

Twyman it has been a year, I can't beleive it. It doesn't seem that long ago that you and Mac always came to visit us, or since we have had those long talks by the bonfire. I can still remember all of the things we talked about, like our trip to Amsterdam. I just want to say I am sorry that it took me so long to write to you but somehow I thought if I avoided it that it wouldn't truely be real. I want to thank you for everything you had done for me.

To Wade's family I am so sorry for your loss. I know that today will be very hard for you. I knew him because him and Stephan always came over and saw me and SPC Becks. We would also go to their barrracks area and sit with them. I have enclosed my email address if you still have any questions or if you just want to hear some stories about him.

Just want the Twyman family to know how thankful we are for the sacrifice given by Wade Michael Twyman. He gave his ALL for his country. What more could he give? We came to know Twyman during his training at Fort Knox, KY with our son, Spc. Blake Rampy, who is also presently serving in Iraq. They had a lot of fun together while training and we came to know Twyman as our own. Our deepest sympathy goes to all the Twyman family. May God lighten the burden you are carrying now and may there be a rainbow for you to remind you that God promises there will be sunshine again. John 15:13 says that "No greater love can be shown by man than to lay down his life for his brother." This he did and we will never forget it!
