Wayne Clodfelter
March 10, 2016
I am Wayne Clodfelter.
I believe I have this right: Kenneth' mother, Jessie Brown Proctor, and my mom's (Wanda Mae Lambeth Clodfelter) mother, Kate Brown Lambeth, were sisters. Kenneth and I are first cousins, once removed.
There was 14 years difference in our ages and between my bad memory and the few times we saw each other, I don't remember much. But I do know that Kenneth was a fine person; someone you immediately liked and wanted to be around. I enjoyed our conversations at the family reunions at Hopewell and am appreciative that Kenneth and the Proctor family made the trip to my mom's memorial service back in June, 2015.
I learned of Ken's passing from my aunt Nancy after he was buried at Hopewell Methodist Church in Trinity, NC. I regret missing his memorial service and wish to extend my condolences to his family. I am saddened at your loss.

I am going to miss Kenneth. I will always remember the time, a couple months ago, when I called and he was unable to come to the phone, then the next day he thought to call me. I spent a lot of time with him while growing up but after I moved away not so much and I regret that. Rest with God, the aches, the pains and the tears are gone. I will see you again.
