Ms. Waheedah Nyjaih Harrell

The Homegoing Celebration for Ms. Waheedah Nyjaih Mann Farms Harrell will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 2:30 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Henderson, Georgia. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Montezuma, Georgia.

Waheedah was born on October 31, 1979, to her loving parents, the beautiful Mary "Peggy" Farms and the handsome Maurice Mann. Waheedah's life was one of devotion, faith, and love. From an early age, she committed herself to Christ, joining Friendship Baptist Church as a child, where she laid the foundation of her spiritual journey. As an adult, she rededicated her life to the Lord at World of Flame Tabernacle, where she continued to grow in her faith and serve others with a heart full of compassion.

Waheedah was a proud graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins, Georgia, Class of '97. She carried with her the values of hard work, dedication, and loyalty that she learned from her family, and these qualities shone through in all aspects of her life.

She was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a loyal friend. Anyone who knew her knew she had a unique laugh and a joyful spirit. Waheedah's warm heart and kind spirit made her a pillar of strength for those who knew her. Her selflessness, grace, unwavering support, and big smile with laughter will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Waheedah leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Atreyu Harrell; devoted friend, Johnnie Jackson; her children: Mary Thomas, Tekorien Thomas, Leonard Jackson (Sierra), and Lakesha Jackson; sisters: Kahiliha Farms Combs (Zontrell) and Ella Jackson-Torres; sisters-in-law, Choya Chapman and Jacqueline Thomas (Damon); aunts: Linda Farms McGarr, Elizabeth Farms West, Denise Louis, and Joyce Farms; uncles: Timmie Farms, Larry Farms, Ruben Winslow, Jack Winslow, and Dennis Jasper; grandchildren: Kelvoris, Ja'Kaylen, Le'Ahjia, Le'Kyhia, Leonard, Ja'Keylan, J'khire, Jaelyn, Soleiah, and Savion; devoted cousins: Britney, Charity, Marco, Whitley, Lavictus, Ocjavia, Destinee, Okoye, Arnita, Kiandra, D'Andra, Taryn, Shatara, Shirley, Mayuanna; several other cousins; and a host of friends whose lives she touched with love and kindness.

Waheedah was preceded in death by her parents: Mary Farms and Maurice Manns; grandparents: Charity Farms and Lawyer Farms; aunts: Eura Watkins, Ozella Askew, and Daisy Farms; uncles: Charles Farms, Stanley Farms, and Johnnie Farms; cousins: Quintin Watkins and Jaron Watkins; brother-in-law, De'Quincio Harrell; and The Love of her Life, Leonard Thomas
