Walker Briggs

Walker Joseph Briggs, 19, of Georgetown, died December 17, 2014. He was born September 9, 1995 in Georgetown, the son of William "Joey" Briggs and Francie Briggs-Golden. He attended Jarrell ISD and Gateway Tech School. He worked for his Grandad, Bill Walker, and uncle, Perry Walker, at Walker Plumbing Company in Georgetown. He was pursuing a master plumber license. He was a member of the Sertoma Club of Georgetown, was active with the Brown Santa of Williamson County and the Red Kettle Campaign. Walker was greeted in Heaven by his MawMaw, Alice Briggs, his faithful canine companion, Hiccup, cousin Jeffrey Briggs, Great and Great-Great Grandparents. Walker was survived by his pups Bow-Bow, Copper and Mana (Bear); his parents Joey and Francie; his siblings Ashlie and Jeremy DeSpain, Whitney, Kaytlin and Peyton Briggs; his step parents Terry Golden and Peggy Braun; his grandparents Bill and Hellen Walker and Ralph Briggs; his uncle Perry Walker and cousin Mary Alcala; his uncle and aunt Billy and Becky Walker; his uncle Jerry Briggs and aunt Cathy Matta; his step siblings Amanda Lindsey, Amanda Kuykendall, Aaron and Amy Golden; his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was also survived by his many close friends and "posse". Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home in Georgetown. Calling hours will be Monday, December 22, from 5-7 p.m.. Funeral will be held Tuesday, December 23, at 2 p.m.. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donations to Walkers Heart Foundation through the Sertoma Club of Georgetown.
